WALK THROUGH GUIDE TO CREATING A SOUND FINANCIAL PLAN:

YOU MAY LIKE TO KEEP THIS HANDY TO TICK OFF EACH BOX AS WE COMPLETE A STEP AND MOVE YOUR WAY THROUGH YOUR NEW PLAN.

THE PRE PLAN PHASE:
PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

We will:

We will create a secure portal for you via our Wealth Central Online portal.

We will initiate your meeting via our Wealth Central portal, you will receive an email with your login details, and we will provide you with the Financial Service Guide and the Adviser Profile.

We will send you confirmation email on the day you book your meeting and an SMS 2 days before your appointment.

You will need to do:

Update all relevant information to us via the portal. Personal details, Children (If relevant), Address, Date of Birth, Assets, Debt (Loans) & Insurance (If relevant).

Bring your Identification document to the meeting (i.e. Driver License/ current passport).

Read the Financial Service Guide and the Adviser Profile that has been provided via the initial Wealth Central email prior to your meeting.

STEP 1:
INITIAL MEETING

We will:

Within the initial consultation we will get to know you and learn about your goals and objectives.

We will establish which advice services you will require and provide information on how our fee structure works and the fee’s going forward.

We will establish the right level of risk protection for you and develop a clear picture of your situation.

We will establish your comfort level of investing.

We will go through the Wealth Central portal with you and fill in any missing information.

You will need to do:

Attend the initial meeting with the Adviser.

Ask any questions to the Adviser.

Sign initial paperwork within the meeting (Third-party Authority forms)

Provide any other relevant documents:

  • Driver License
  • Tax file number
  • Bank account statements ETC

Book your next meeting

STEP 2:
POST INITIAL MEETING

We will:

Send the signed ‘Third-party Authority forms to the fund manager to obtain all information on the relevant funds (i.e., Superannuation, Insurance or Investments)

Request any further information or statements from you through our Wealth Central message centre.

You will need to do:

Add your next appointment to your calendar.

Provide us with any missing information or statements (If relevant)

Write down any questions you have for the Adviser for your next meeting.

STEP 3:
STRATEGY MEETING

We will:

We will hold a meeting to discuss the strategy for your financial plan.

We will go through the modelling of your Strategy and have a discussion and agree on the strategy that is best for you.

We will confirm all the details of your position.

We will provide a preliminary analysis of your current position and provide a review on products and all relevant legislation.

We will discuss our fees and sign the fee Engagement letter and (if relevant) ask personal questions based around our insurance Questionnaire.

STEP 4:
POST STRATEGY MEETING

We will:

Preparing the Advice, we will finalise the analysis of all strategies and options.

We will finalise all potential products and relevant legislation checks.

We will prepare the recommendations.

STEP 5:
POST PLAN PRESENTATION MEETING

We will:

We will present your financial plan.

We will go through all relevant paperwork with you including Insurance applications (If relevant).

We will go through all relative fee’s relating to the advice and ongoing care of your portfolio.

We will assist you within the meeting to sign all paperwork via our Wealth Central Portal.

You will need to do:

Ask the Adviser all questions relating to the advice.

Sign all relative paperwork.

STEP 6:
IMPLEMENTATION ONGOING REVIEWS

We will:

We will send all relevant paperwork/applications off for processing with the fund managers.

We will provide ongoing updates on the progress and contact you if we require any further information.

We will do a final update of your Wealth Central portal once the statement of advice has been implemented.

You will receive an email from us confirming finalisation of your advice, this will include a link to our survey, you will also get a notification via Wealth Central once we have completed the final update.

STEP 6 continued:
ONGOING REVIEWS

You will need to do:

Let us know if there are any changes by updating your information via our Wealth Central portal. (We will get notified if you have made any changes).

We will initiate your next review meeting via our Wealth Central portal. Please be on the look out for an email to complete your pre meeting fact find.
